Diamantina forms part of an award-winning cabin development which won the Sir Zelman Cohen Award for Architectural Excellence. Professor Peter McIntyre designed the development and it was developed by Casbak and Castran in 1988. The concept of a freestanding cabin was a direct derivative of the romantic mountain cattleman’s huts that were peppered over the high country.
Never before had people been able to own their own intimate cabin complete with stone open fireplace, two bedrooms, loft and a palatial bathroom!
Diamantina is one of the best examples ever of cabin development that has been carried out in the Australian Alps. Excellent car-parking, position perfect within the village and in excellent condition.
Rental returns that will warm the cockles of your accountants’ heart. This romantic cabin is certainty a must have in these iso times.
